This year ICHIRO ITS Robotics Team joins Robocup Competition. Different from the previous year, this year Robocup was held online and take place in the simulation field. All participants compose or create their robot program which will be implemented in a robot simulator platform, called Webots so that their robot can compete virtually with robot teams from other countries. Therefore, we focus on our training to improve the quality of our program.
We started training about two months before the competition. In each match, all participants are allowed to upgrade their robot program which was collected no later than 4 hours before the next match. After trying hard and beating the Itandroids Team with a score of 2-0 and the Ultra Team with a score of 3-0, we made it through to the quarter-finals
However, no rose without a thorn, unfortunately, our journey has to be stopped after fighting one of the best teams in the 2021 Robocup, namely MRL HSL. In the future, we will try again to do our best and learned from our mistakes.
